Melbet takes our top spot because it handles Tether the way a Canadian player needs. You can deposit USDT on four networks (TRC-20, ERC-20, BNB Smart Chain and TON) with no deposit fees, and crypto top-ups are credited as soon as the network confirms them. Your wallet still displays in Canadian dollars, so tracking a session takes no mental math. Crypto users also get their own promotion: the Crypto Streak pays 10% cashback when you make five crypto deposits in a week. Beyond that, there's a deep slot lobby from NetEnt, Nolimit City, Wazdan and others, a live casino, fast games, and a sportsbook with 10,000+ events, NHL included, plus apps for Android and iOS. The trade-offs are an offshore licence, KYC before your first withdrawal and casino wagering around 40x, so read the terms before you opt in.
1xBet is the most flexible USDT casino on our list when it comes to networks. Tether is accepted on eight chains (TRC-20, ERC-20, BSC, TON, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum One and Solana), so you can send USDT from wherever it already sits without bridging. Accounts can be held in CAD, one-click registration takes seconds, and crypto withdrawals are often processed within the hour. Casino players can claim a four-deposit package worth up to C$3,000 plus 150 free spins at 35x wagering; check whether crypto deposits qualify for the spins before you claim. The in-house 1xGames section, with Crash, Apple of Fortune and dozens more, offers demo mode, which helps you learn a game before risking Tether. Sports fans get one of the deepest books around, with hockey, live streams on selected events and 1,200+ markets on top football matches. Expect a busy interface at first.

Stake is the crypto casino most players already know, and its Tether setup shows why. USDT deposits are credited after just two network confirmations, TRC-20 is recommended for minimal fees, and you can deposit straight from 300+ supported wallets. If you don't hold crypto yet, the built-in MoonPay option lets you buy coins with a card. Withdrawals typically land within minutes. Instead of a classic match bonus, Stake delivers value through a $75K weekly raffle, a $100K race, Bonus Clash, Multiplier Bingo and a VIP Club with rakeback, reloads and a dedicated host at higher levels. The lobby mixes thousands of slots from studios like Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw Gaming with provably fair Stake Originals such as Dice, Plinko and Crash, and the sportsbook offers deep NHL markets with live betting. Stake.com runs under a Curaçao licence and isn't available in Ontario.
Rainbet is the best fit if you want crypto-speed payouts but still like having Interac as a backup. It's one of the few offshore crypto casinos that takes Interac, alongside Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay. On the Tether side, you get five USDT networks (ERC-20, TRC-20, Solana, Polygon and BSC), a minimum of around $15, and withdrawals that usually clear instantly or within about 15 minutes, with no platform fees. The welcome package reaches $2,100 plus 60 free spins over three deposits, and you choose between 40x wagering or a No Wager mode that releases the bonus gradually as you play. After that, value comes from daily, weekly and monthly races, a $20,000 weekly raffle and rakeback you can claim every 10 minutes. The lobby holds 6,000+ games plus provably fair Originals. Rainbet runs under an Anjouan licence and isn't open to Ontario residents.
Roobet has been running since 2019 and built its name on Crash, still the busiest corner of the site. For USDT players it supports both ERC-20 and TRC-20, with a minimum deposit of roughly $10 and no platform fee on withdrawals, which arrive anywhere from a few minutes to about 24 hours. You can sign up with MetaMask or Google instead of filling in a form. There's no deposit-match welcome bonus; instead, RooWards pays instant rakeback every 30 minutes plus weekly and monthly bonuses, rakeback carries no wagering, and every bet earns tickets for the $100,000 weekly raffle. Alongside 14 provably fair Originals and a sportsbook, Roobet runs prediction markets on politics, crypto and more. Two Canadian caveats: Ontario visitors are redirected to the free-to-play Roobet.fun, and several big studios, including Evolution and NetEnt, are restricted in some or all provinces.
DuckDice started as a Bitcoin dice site in 2016 and still does dice better than almost anyone. Its Original Dice game is provably fair with a 1% house edge (99% RTP), and you can verify every roll with the built-in seed tools. USDT is a native currency here, so you bet and withdraw in Tether without forced conversion, and TRC-20 keeps transfer costs low. The site reports an average cashout time of around 10 minutes and no maximum withdrawal limit. New players can claim a welcome bundle worth up to 10,000 USDT across four deposits for a limited time after sign-up, and regulars get contests, a VIP club, and Decoy token staking and mining. Beyond dice, there are around 370 slots, live tables, crash games and a sportsbook with hockey. DuckDice holds an Anjouan licence and has no Interac banking, so you'll need crypto before you start.
BitStarz has been running since 2014, making it one of the oldest crypto casinos still open to Canadians, and it holds an "Excellent" Trustpilot rating from 5,400+ reviews. USDT withdrawals are processed automatically and typically reach your wallet in about 10 minutes, with no casino fees and no weekly caps on crypto cashouts. You can keep a CAD account and add a USDT balance alongside it, and a dedicated Play with Tether page explains the basics if you're new to the coin. The welcome package reaches C$2,000 or 5 BTC plus 180 free spins over four deposits, at 40x wagering with table and live games counting only 5%. Tournament prizes, including the weekly Table Wars with a €10,000 pool, carry zero wagering. The library holds 4,000+ games from 60+ studios, with Evolution live tables and provably fair originals. It's Curaçao-licensed and has no native app.
Winna is the newcomer with the most unusual credentials. It launched in 2024 and is licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission, a First Nations regulator in New Brunswick. That's more local oversight than most crypto casinos offer, though it isn't provincial regulation, and Ontario players aren't accepted. Banking is crypto-only and built for speed: deposits start at about $1, USDT withdrawals usually complete in under 10 minutes, and daily limits reach $10,000 depending on your level. Crypto players don't need KYC under normal circumstances, although large or unusual withdrawals can still trigger checks. There's no welcome bonus. Instead, instant rakeback lands every seven minutes with no wagering, weekly and monthly rewards grow with your VIP level, and Winna will match VIP status you hold elsewhere. Provably fair originals and a sportsbook with hockey and esports round it out.
Pros
Licensed by New Brunswick's Tobique Gaming Commission
JustCasino runs two sites, and for Tether you want JustCasino.io, the crypto twin of the Interac-friendly JustCasino.com. Its welcome deal is unusually clean: 20% daily cashback for your first week, calculated on your theoretical loss (wagers multiplied by house edge), capped at $100 a day and paid as cash with no wagering. You qualify with a $20 deposit in any of 13 coins, USDT included. Withdrawals start at just 5 USDT, but they're processed manually in 6–12 hours and capped at 4,000 USDT a day and 30,000 USDT a month, which matters if you land a big win. The lobby is huge, with 14,000+ games from 90+ studios, 4,504 jackpot titles and provably fair originals, and the JustSport sportsbook shares your USDT balance. It's Curaçao-licensed under Dama N.V. and closed to Ontario.
WinSpirit is a fiat-first casino that also takes 12 cryptocurrencies, so it suits players who switch between Interac and Tether. USDT deposits work on both TRC-20 and ERC-20, but withdrawals go out on ERC-20 only, so factor in Ethereum fees on small cashouts. The welcome package offers up to C$2,000 plus 100 free spins over two deposits at 40x, with a C$3,000 cap on winnings from each bonus. Know the house rules before you deposit: every deposit must be wagered 3x before withdrawal, the minimum cashout is C$50, and ID plus a selfie is required before your first payout. On the plus side, the esports book is one of the better offshore menus for CS2 and Valorant, weekly cashback carries only 5x wagering, and installing the app adds 20 no-deposit free spins. It's Curaçao-licensed and not registered in Ontario.
Bitcoin and Ether are fine for moving money, but they make awkward bankrolls. Deposit $200 in BTC, watch the price slip 8% mid-session, and you've lost $16 before placing a bet. USDT is pegged to the US dollar, so 500 USDT on Friday is still about 500 USDT on Monday, which makes budgeting and tracking results far simpler. One honest caveat: Tether follows the US dollar, not the loonie, so its CAD value still moves with the exchange rate, just nowhere near as much as BTC or ETH.
Speed is the second reason. A USDT transfer on Tron usually confirms in about a minute, and casinos such as Winna, DuckDice and BitStarz typically pay crypto withdrawals in around ten minutes, compared with the 24 to 72 hours an Interac withdrawal often takes at a fiat-first site.
The third reason is bank friction. Some Canadian banks decline gambling-related card payments. With USDT you send funds from your own wallet and share only a deposit address, never your card or banking details.
TRC-20 vs ERC-20 vs BEP-20: Which USDT Network Should You Use?
USDT runs on several blockchains, and your choice decides the fee and the wait:
Network
Typical fee
Typical speed
Where to get it
TRC-20 (Tron)
Around $1 or less
About 1 minute
Tron wallet such as Trust Wallet; swap from USDC
ERC-20 (Ethereum)
$1–10+, higher when busy
1–5 minutes
Ethereum wallet such as MetaMask; swap from USDC
BEP-20 (BNB Smart Chain)
Usually a few cents
Under a minute
BNB Chain wallet such as Trust Wallet or MetaMask
For most players, a USDT TRC20 online casino is the sensible default, and most sites on our list support it; see our TRC-20 USDT casinos. ERC-20 only makes sense if your Tether already sits on Ethereum, and WinSpirit pays USDT out on ERC-20 only (ERC-20 USDT casinos). BEP-20 is a cheap alternative at Melbet, 1xBet and Rainbet; more options are in our BEP-20 USDT casinos guide.
How to Deposit USDT at a Tether Casino, Step by Step
There's a Canadian twist most guides skip: CSA-registered crypto platforms no longer sell USDT to Canadian clients, because Tether hasn't met regulators' requirements for stablecoins. Owning and sending USDT is legal; you just can't buy it with Interac on a registered exchange. Here's the route that works:
Buy USDC, the stablecoin registered Canadian platforms do list, using an Interac e-Transfer.
Withdraw it to a self-custody wallet that supports your chosen network.
Swap USDC for USDT on that network with the wallet's built-in swap or a reputable swap service, checking the rate and fee first.
In the casino cashier, choose USDT, select the network and copy the deposit address.
Send a small test amount first. The network must match on both ends: TRC-20 USDT sent to an ERC-20 address can be lost for good, and no casino can reverse it.
Wait for confirmations. Most sites credit USDT within minutes.
Shortcuts exist, too. Many sites take USDC directly, so you can skip the swap at our USDC casinos. Stake has MoonPay built in for card purchases, and Rainbet accepts Interac alongside crypto.
How We Picked These Casinos
Every site here went through the same process. We check how USDT actually moves (networks, minimums, fees, withdrawal times), read full bonus terms rather than banners, verify the licence, operator and accepted provinces, then weigh games, mobile play and support. The full methodology is on our how we review page.
Is It Legal to Play at USDT Casinos in Canada?
Gambling is regulated province by province. Outside Ontario, there's no licensing system for private online casinos, so offshore Tether casinos sit in a grey area: they aren't authorized locally, but players aren't prosecuted for using them. Most sites on our list hold Curaçao or Anjouan licences; Winna is licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission in New Brunswick, which still isn't provincial regulation.
Ontario runs its own market through iGaming Ontario and the AGCO, and none of these ten casinos are registered there. Stake, Rainbet, Roobet, Winna and JustCasino block Ontario outright, and in 2024 the OPP and AGCO named WinSpirit in a warning about unregistered sites. Ontarians get dispute resolution and self-exclusion coverage only at provincially registered casinos. Alberta is also building its own regulated market.
The legal gambling age is 19 in most provinces and 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Recreational winnings are generally not taxable in Canada, but converting or selling crypto can trigger capital gains, so keep records. None of this is legal advice.
Bonuses and Wagering With USDT
A headline number tells you little. Before opting in at any casino with Tether, check:
Wagering. 35x (1xBet) and 40x (Rainbet, BitStarz, WinSpirit) are common; some sites apply it to deposit plus bonus, doubling the turnover.
Game contribution. At BitStarz, table and live games count only 5%.
Maximum bet. Rainbet caps bets at 2% of your deposit while a bonus is active.
Win caps. WinSpirit limits cashouts from each welcome bonus to C$3,000.
Crypto eligibility. Not every promotion accepts crypto deposits.
Deposit turnover. WinSpirit requires every deposit to be wagered 3x before withdrawal, bonus or not.
Rakeback and Cashback: The Low-Strings Alternative
Several Tether casinos skip match bonuses entirely. Winna pays instant rakeback every seven minutes, Roobet returns part of the house edge through RooWards, and JustCasino gives 20% daily cashback in your first week, all without wagering. For table-game players especially, that's often worth more than a 40x package. Our Tether casino games guide explains which games suit bonus play.
Responsible Gambling
Crypto makes deposits fast, which is exactly why limits matter. Set a budget before you open the cashier, keep the rest of your USDT in your own wallet, and treat every session as paid entertainment, not income. Use the deposit limits and self-exclusion tools in your account, and step away if you catch yourself chasing losses. Free, confidential help is listed below.
FAQ
USDT Casino Questions, Answered
Melbet tops our ranking with a 9.8 score, thanks to four USDT networks, no deposit fees, a CAD balance display and weekly crypto cashback. The right pick still depends on how you play: 1xBet supports the most networks, Rainbet also takes Interac, Winna usually pays out in under 10 minutes, and DuckDice is built for dice players.
Not directly on registered Canadian platforms, which stopped offering USDT because Tether hasn't met CSA requirements for stablecoins. Holding and sending USDT is still legal. The usual route is to buy USDC with Interac, move it to a self-custody wallet and swap it to USDT, or play at a casino that accepts USDC or offers a built-in way to buy crypto.
Outside Ontario, offshore Tether casino sites sit in a grey area: they aren't provincially licensed, but players aren't prosecuted for using them. Ontario only regulates operators registered with iGaming Ontario, none of our ten are, and many block the province entirely. You must be 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec). This is general information, not legal advice.
A TRC20 casino accepts USDT on the Tron network. For most players it's the best option, with fees that usually sit around a dollar or less and transfers that confirm in about a minute. ERC-20 works almost everywhere but costs more when Ethereum is busy. Whatever you choose, the network in your wallet must match the casino's deposit address.
Genuine no-deposit offers are rare at crypto casinos. On our list, WinSpirit gives 20 no-deposit free spins for installing its app. Most others prefer wager-free rewards after you deposit, such as Winna's instant rakeback, Roobet's RooWards or JustCasino's first-week cashback. Always check wagering and win caps on any free offer before you play.
Usually minutes, not days. Winna and DuckDice typically pay out in about 10 minutes, BitStarz averages around 10, and Rainbet takes up to roughly 15. JustCasino processes manually in 6–12 hours, and WinSpirit can take longer because of internal review. Your first withdrawal may also be slower if the casino asks you to verify your ID.
Most do. Stake, Roobet, Winna, JustCasino.io and WinSpirit all list ETH alongside Tether. Keep the difference in mind: ETH is a volatile coin, while USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20) is a dollar-pegged token that uses the same network. Both pay Ethereum gas fees, so for small, frequent deposits, USDT on TRC-20 is usually the cheaper choice.
19+ only (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec). Gambling is paid entertainment, not a way to make money: set a budget, use deposit limits and never chase losses.
